Hotels in Madrida practical 3-star city hotel near La Latina
8.6/10
A strong sightseeing base, with standout staff and a small rooftop pool.
Porcel Ganivet is a practical 3-star near La Latina that gets the important things right: clean rooms, helpful staff and an easy base for exploring Madrid. Expedia and Trip.com guests consistently praise the housekeeping and welcome, while recent Tripadvisor reviews also highlight the varied breakfast. With Puerta de Toledo metro nearby and Plaza Mayor within walking distance, it’s a strong pick for travelers spending most of their day out.
The trade-offs are mostly about space and expectations. Some rooms have limited storage, and the seasonal rooftop pool is for cooling off rather than swimming lengths; recent guests mention limited lounging space. Noise-sensitive sleepers should request a quieter room. One May 2026 guest also reported nearby construction noise, though its current status is unconfirmed. We’d skip it for spacious rooms or a pool-focused holiday.
