Hotels in Madridan art-led 4-star near the Bernabéu and Madrid’s business district
8.1/10
A comfortable, characterful base for football and business, less convenient for old-town sightseeing.
NYX is an art-led 4-star in Tetuán, better suited to Bernabéu visits and business around Castellana than sightseeing on foot. It’s a strong pick if you want personality without luxury-hotel formality: bold artwork and a sociable lobby bar distinguish it from a standard chain hotel. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and the breakfast buffet.
The main compromise is space: smaller room categories attract recurring complaints about cramped layouts, so check the category carefully. The historic center requires a metro or taxi ride rather than a short stroll. Also, the brand’s website lists swimming-pool renovations beginning April 1, 2026, without a completion date; confirm rooftop-pool availability before booking. We’d skip it for a pool-focused break or if generous room space is essential.

Best for: Bernabéu match weekends; business around Castellana and AZCA; couples who like bold design
Watch out for: Cramped smaller room categories; Historic center is not a short walk away; Pool-renovation notice; confirm availability
Location: Near the Bernabéu and AZCA, with Alvarado metro roughly a six-minute walk away.
Rooms: Comfort generally earns praise, but smaller categories can feel tight, especially with luggage.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength in recent guest feedback; Expedia rates cleanliness particularly highly.
Service: Recent guests commonly describe staff as friendly and helpful, despite occasional less-positive encounters.
Amenities: Breakfast buffet, lobby cocktail bar and free Wi-Fi; rooftop-pool availability needs confirmation.
Fees and surprises: Parking and pets cost extra; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking, and underground parking cannot be reserved.
