Hotels in Lisbona small, art-focused mid-range boutique hotel in central Lisbon
8.9/10
A welcoming Lisbon base, strongest on staff, breakfast and walkability.
Urbano is a 26-room, art-focused boutique hotel in a restored historic building, best approached as a comfortable city base rather than a full-service luxury stay. It’s a strong pick for exploring Lisbon on foot, with Praça do Comércio and the cathedral nearby. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and included breakfast; complimentary coffee and cake add genuine value between sightseeing stops.
Choose your room carefully: entry-level options can be compact and inward-facing, while some bathrooms have frosted-glass partitions that compromise privacy. Sound insulation is another recurring weakness, with guests mentioning neighboring rooms, corridors and occasional street noise, although others sleep well. We’d skip it if spacious rooms, bathroom privacy or reliable quiet matter more than a central address and personal service.
