Dom Pedro Lisboa is a traditional five-star business hotel in Amoreiras, and a strong pick if room comfort matters more than stepping straight into historic Lisbon. Following its 2025 renovation, recent Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and a generous breakfast. River-view rooms add a worthwhile sense of place, while the shopping center opposite is handy for everyday needs.
The main compromise is location: exploring Baixa and Chiado means a substantial walk or a bus or taxi ride, with an uphill return. The indoor pool is small, and some recent guests flag spa maintenance shortcomings; this is a city hotel with wellness facilities, not a spa destination. Children under 12 have pool access only from noon to 2 p.m. We'd skip it for an old-town walking holiday, but happily shortlist it for comfortable, service-focused stays.
