Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong Miraflores base with standout staff and breakfast, despite some room wear. a full-service 4-star city hotel in central Miraflores, scored for what it is.

This full-service 4-star in Miraflores is a strong pick for comfortable sightseeing rather than luxury. Recent Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia feedback consistently praises helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and a generous breakfast, which the hotel includes. Restaurants, Kennedy Park and the coastal promenade are within walking distance, while the rooftop bar and small outdoor pool give you a pleasant place to unwind after exploring.

The trade-offs are mostly about polish: some guests flag loud air-conditioning, and recent bathroom complaints suggest maintenance is not uniformly sharp. The compact pool and gym are useful extras, not reasons to book a resort-style stay, and this is not a beachfront hotel. We'd choose it for attentive service and a convenient neighborhood base; we'd skip it if contemporary bathrooms, near-silent cooling or substantial swimming facilities are priorities.

• Best for: first-time Lima visitors; couples exploring Miraflores; business travelers wanting a walkable base

• Watch out for: some reports of loud air-conditioning; uneven bathroom condition; small rooftop pool

• Location: Walkable Miraflores base near restaurants, Kennedy Park and the coastal promenade; not directly on the beach.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and often spacious rooms; some guests report noisy cooling and bathroom maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Tripadvisor and recent Expedia feedback.

• Service: Warm, helpful reception, restaurant and housekeeping teams earn repeated praise.

• Amenities: Included full breakfast, rooftop bar, small outdoor pool, compact gym and free Wi-Fi.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; the hotel flags documentation requirements for Peru's visitor tax exemption.
