Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong-value Miraflores base, provided you can live with compact, basic rooms. a no-frills 3-star near Larcomar in Miraflores, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 3-star earns its place through location and reliable basics rather than extras. Larcomar and the coastal promenade are a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness and helpful staff; recent Expedia reviews also make breakfast a particular strength. We'd pick it for a short Lima stay spent exploring, not lounging at the hotel.

The compromises are compact rooms, limited in-room conveniences and some wear. Recent Accor and Expedia guests mention tired interiors, while standard-room reviews repeatedly note missing fridges and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast costs extra unless included in your booking, and parking is charged. It's good value for travelers who prioritize a walkable base; we'd skip it if spacious rooms and generous amenities matter more.

• Best for: value-minded couples and solo travelers; short sightseeing stays; travelers exploring Miraflores on foot

• Watch out for: compact rooms with limited extras; wear showing in some interiors; breakfast and parking can cost extra

• Location: A short walk from Larcomar, restaurants and the coastal promenade; not a beachfront hotel.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable but compact; standard rooms have limited conveniences and some show wear.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Accor guest feedback.

• Service: Mostly friendly and helpful, with strong recent praise for reception staff.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, Voga Lima restaurant and a 24-hour bar cover the essentials.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion; the official site confirms paid parking despite Booking.com's conflicting description.
