Axel's take: 9.1/10

Standout service and breakfast make this a strong San Isidro choice. a modern luxury business hotel in San Isidro, scored for what it is.

Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima is a modern luxury business hotel that delivers especially well on service, cleanliness and food. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a breakfast buffet worth making time for. Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and comfort ratings reinforce that picture. We'd pick it for a polished, dependable stay, with Isidro Bistró and the Celeste rooftop bar adding reasons to spend an evening in.

The main compromise is location: San Isidro puts restaurants and El Olivar park nearby, but not Miraflores’ oceanfront or Barranco’s nightlife at your doorstep. Some guests mention event noise, so light sleepers should request a quiet room. The rooftop pool is a welcome extra rather than the reason to book. We'd skip it if coastal views and walking straight into Lima’s main tourist scene matter most.

• Best for: business travelers; couples who prioritize service and dining; travelers happy to explore by taxi

• Watch out for: away from the oceanfront tourist hub; occasional event noise; breakfast inclusion depends on your booking

• Location: San Isidro setting near restaurants and El Olivar; plan transport to Miraflores and Barranco.

• Rooms: Modern, comfortable rooms with consistently praised beds; request quieter placement if noise-sensitive.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across guest feedback, including Booking.com’s high cleanliness rating.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn unusually consistent praise across recent reviews.

• Amenities: Heated rooftop pool, fitness center, Isidro Bistró and Celeste rooftop bar.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking is listed as complimentary; breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra.
