Axel's take: 9.0/10

A dependable Miraflores base with standout staff, clean rooms and a rooftop pool. a modern mid-range chain hotel in walkable Miraflores, scored for what it is.

This modern mid-range chain hotel is a strong pick for exploring Miraflores without sacrificing comfort. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spotless rooms, helpful staff and comfortable beds; Booking.com also rates cleanliness and comfort particularly highly. Restaurants, shopping and the coastal promenade are within walking distance. The rooftop pool and bar give it more appeal than a purely functional business hotel, while free guest parking is a useful extra.

The trade-offs are modest: breakfast attracts plenty of praise, but some recent Expedia and Trip.com guests wanted more variety, and it is not included with every booking. The pool is outdoors, not indoors as some listings suggest. We'd choose it for reliable comfort and location rather than boutique character; travelers wanting an intimate retreat or a full luxury-resort experience should look elsewhere.

• Best for: first-time Lima visitors; couples exploring Miraflores; business travelers wanting walkable dining

• Watch out for: breakfast inclusion depends on booking; some guests find breakfast variety limited; outdoor pool, not an indoor pool

• Location: Walkable Miraflores setting near restaurants, shopping and the coastal promenade.

• Rooms: Modern, comfortable rooms; guests frequently praise the beds and usable space.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent reviews, supported by Booking.com's high cleanliness rating.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn repeated praise across several review platforms.

• Amenities: Outdoor rooftop pool, rooftop bar, restaurant, gym, free Wi-Fi and complimentary guest self-parking.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; pets carry a nonrefundable fee and weight limit; Hilton flags VAT eligibility checks at arrival.
