Strong dining and spacious rooms, but luxury polish isn't consistent. a luxury casino megaresort in the central Strip area, scored for what it is.

ARIA is a luxury casino megaresort whose strongest selling points are its central Strip location, extensive dining and generously sized rooms. We'd pick it for a restaurant-led Vegas trip with pool time and gambling between outings. Expedia's overall ratings remain strong, and recent guests repeatedly praise comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. This is a good big-resort experience, rather than reliably flawless five-star hospitality.

The trade-offs are aging room finishes, long walks through the property and uneven housekeeping or problem handling in some recent accounts. Resort fees, paid parking and sensor-monitored minibars add friction; the casino also permits smoking, despite mostly nonsmoking accommodations. A room renovation is scheduled to begin in November 2026, with the bulk of work planned for summer 2027—check disruption before booking. We'd skip it for intimate service, a fully smoke-free setting or consistently pristine luxury.

• Best for: couples planning dining and casino nights; travelers wanting spacious Strip accommodations; pool-and-spa weekends

• Watch out for: aging finishes and uneven housekeeping; resort fees, parking and minibar charges; room renovation scheduled from November 2026

• Location: Central Strip area with nearby shopping and a free tram; getting through the resort involves substantial walking.

• Rooms: Standard kings measure 520 square feet, with large windows and tablet controls; guests also report visible wear.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall ratings and frequent praise, tempered by repeated reports of housekeeping misses.

• Service: Many guests praise friendly staff, but check-in and resolving problems can be inconsistent.

• Amenities: Extensive restaurants, pools, spa, fitness facilities and casino; smoking is permitted in designated casino areas.

• Fees and surprises: Daily resort fee, generally paid parking and monitored minibar; personal refrigerators may cost extra.
