Hotels in Lancaster, PennsylvaniaA straightforward 3-star chain hotel in Lancaster’s Amish Country
8.5/10
A strong Amish Country base, with friendly staff and a few room-level caveats.
This straightforward 3-star in Ronks is a strong pick for an Amish Country trip by car. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, welcoming staff and convenient access to theaters, shopping and local attractions. Free breakfast and parking help the value, while the heated indoor pool, gym and in-room microwaves and refrigerators cover the practical basics. Recent guests describe updated interiors, though some still find the decor dated.
The caveats are room-specific rather than the dominant experience: several Tripadvisor guests report mustiness or dampness, and some guests elsewhere mention noise between rooms. Carpet replacement caused disruption in February 2026; later reviews describe updated rooms rather than ongoing work. Dogs are welcome for an extra fee. We'd skip it if you're particularly sensitive to odors or need reliably quiet sleep.

Watch out for: mustiness or dampness in some rooms; occasional noise between rooms; additional pet fee
Location: Convenient Ronks base near US-30, theaters and attractions; best suited to exploring by car.
Rooms: Generally comfortable, with refrigerators and microwaves; updates have not eliminated every condition complaint.
Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across sites, tempered by a minority of odor and dampness reports.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent strength in recent guest reviews.
Amenities: Free breakfast, WiFi and parking, plus a heated indoor pool and fitness center.
Fees and surprises: Dogs incur an extra fee; February 2026 carpet-work complaints are followed by later reports of updated interiors.
