Hotels in Lake of the OzarksA casual lakeside resort with motel rooms, condos and cottages
8.1/10
A strong lake-weekend pick, provided you choose your unit carefully.
Alhonna is a casual lakeside resort, mixing motel rooms, condos and cottages rather than offering a polished hotel experience. It's a strong pick for families and anglers who want pools, fishing docks and the Blue Cat Lounge close at hand. Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the staff and waterfront setting, while several 2026 guests on Trip.com describe freshly renovated accommodations. The appeal is easygoing lake time and practical facilities, not luxury.
Choose your unit carefully: recent reports of refreshed interiors sit alongside complaints about older furnishings, musty smells and uneven cleaning. Some cottages face another building rather than the lake, so confirm your specific view. Bring pool towels and expect linen exchanges rather than full daily housekeeping. We'd skip it for travelers wanting consistently polished rooms or step-free access: the resort explicitly says its guest accommodations are not ADA-compliant.
