Axel's take: 7.8/10

A friendly Oniru base with appealing social spaces, but choose your room carefully. a small mid-range hotel and lounge in Oniru, scored for what it is.

Proof is a small mid-range hotel and lounge in Oniru, better approached as an independent stay than a full-service four-star. We'd consider it for its friendly staff, leafy communal spaces and on-site dining. Guest feedback on Itinera and ReadyToTrip repeatedly praises the welcome, while the restaurant, outdoor pool and lounge give you reasons to spend time downstairs rather than just sleep here.

The main compromise is room size: recent ReadyToTrip reviews describe some rooms as small, although upgraded rooms and apartments attract better comments about space. Expedia also lists no elevator and breakfast at an extra charge. The hotel promotes nightlife and rooftop parties, so light sleepers should ask about events and room placement. We'd skip it if spacious standard rooms or predictable international-chain polish are priorities; recent detailed overnight reviews remain relatively limited.

• Best for: couples seeking an informal Oniru base; travelers who enjoy on-site dining and lounge spaces; groups considering a multi-bedroom apartment

• Watch out for: some rooms are compact; no elevator; check event schedules if quiet matters

• Location: Oniru side-street setting; guests appreciate access to shopping and the surrounding Lekki area.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms and apartments; recent comments suggest choosing a larger category if space matters.

• Cleanliness: Older feedback praises clean rooms, but detailed recent housekeeping evidence is limited.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent positive across the guest accounts available.

• Amenities: Restaurant, lounge and outdoor pool are listed; the official site also advertises a spa and café.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free parking and paid breakfast; confirm meal inclusions and arrival arrangements directly.
