A practical Lekki base, but check room condition before committing. a budget 3-star business hotel in Lekki Phase 1, scored for what it is.

Peninsula Hotel & Towers is a budget 3-star business hotel in Lekki Phase 1, best considered for a straightforward stay rather than a beach holiday. Its Google rating is broadly positive, while older Tripadvisor and Hotels.ng guests praise spacious rooms, welcoming staff and good food. Listings advertise an outdoor pool, restaurant and free parking. We'd shortlist it for convenience, but recent firsthand evidence is too limited for a confident recommendation.

The main uncertainty is upkeep. Google's review summary flags bathrooms and uneven cleanliness; Expedia's two reviews are poor, although both date from 2021 and cannot establish today's conditions. The accessible Tripadvisor reviews are older still. We'd ask for current room and bathroom photos and confirm breakfast and pool availability before paying. Skip it if you need reliably polished rooms or direct beach access.

• Best for: budget-conscious business travelers; short stays centered on Lekki Phase 1

• Watch out for: limited recent guest evidence; bathroom and housekeeping concerns; not a beachfront hotel

• Location: On Providence Street in Lekki Phase 1; beaches require a separate trip.

• Rooms: Older guests praise generous space, but current furniture and bathroom condition need checking.

• Cleanliness: Mixed evidence: Google's summary raises concerns, while detailed dated reviews disagree.

• Service: Older Tripadvisor and Hotels.ng reviews often praise staff; Expedia's small sample is less positive.

• Amenities: Listings advertise an outdoor pool, restaurant, free Wi-Fi, breakfast and parking; confirm availability.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free parking and possible early check-in or late check-out charges; confirm breakfast inclusion.
