A good-value Ikoyi base, with welcoming staff but uneven four-star polish. a modest 4-star hotel in Ikoyi’s gated Parkview Estate, scored for what it is.

Parkview Astoria is a modest 4-star hotel in Ikoyi’s gated Parkview Estate, and we’d choose it for a quieter base rather than luxury. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and comfortable, clean rooms; 2026 feedback largely reinforces that picture. The pool, gym and on-site supermarket make it practical for business trips and longer visits. Overall, it delivers good value if location and hospitality matter more than polished interiors.

The compromises are breakfast and consistency. Guests across several sites mention limited breakfast choices, while some recent reviews describe tired décor, minor maintenance faults or cleaning lapses. The estate setting also means arranging gate access and relying on transport for outings. Confirm which room you’re getting and how many breakfasts your booking includes. We’d skip it for a luxury occasion or a stay centered on walking to restaurants.

• Best for: business travelers visiting Ikoyi; longer stays with arranged transport; value-minded travelers seeking quieter surroundings

• Watch out for: limited breakfast choices and variable inclusions; uneven room condition and maintenance; estate gate-access arrangements

• Location: Quiet gated-estate setting; guests appreciate the security, but restaurants and outings generally require transport.

• Rooms: Often described as spacious and comfortable, though recent guests also report dated décor and maintenance faults.

• Cleanliness: Positive overall across major sites, with some recent lapses rather than a dominant pattern of poor cleaning.

• Service: Friendly, accommodating staff are the clearest recurring strength; restaurant service is less consistent.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, Wi-Fi, free parking and a useful on-site supermarket; facility-condition feedback varies.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast coverage for every guest; airport transfers and early or late departures can cost extra.
