Axel's take: 7.0/10

A workable Agungi base with a pool, but room standards need checking. a simple independent 3-star hotel in Agungi, Lekki, scored for what it is.

Nevada is a simple independent 3-star in Agungi, not Lekki Phase 1 as some listings suggest. We'd consider it for a short stay nearby, especially if an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar matter more than polished service. Google's overall rating is a respectable 4.0, while Hotels.ng is more moderate at 7.2/10. The pool and atmosphere are its clearest strengths.

The reservation is consistency: guest feedback raises room upkeep, bathroom and housekeeping concerns, alongside uneven reception and food service. The accessible 2025 Google reviews include both warm staff praise and a poor breakfast-service experience; Tripadvisor's newest review is from April 2023, so recent evidence across independent sites is limited. Confirm breakfast inclusions, parking and your exact room before paying. We'd skip it for a high-stakes business stay or if you need step-free access: Expedia lists no elevator.

• Best for: short stays around Agungi; travelers wanting a pool and bar

• Watch out for: uneven room upkeep and housekeeping; limited parking and no elevator; Agungi location, not Lekki Phase 1

• Location: The official address is Agungi, Lekki; check its position against your actual destination.

• Rooms: Queen- and king-bed categories plus suites; guest feedback suggests maintenance is inconsistent.

• Cleanliness: Mixed reports across Google, Hotels.ng and older Tripadvisor reviews; inspect the assigned room.

• Service: Some guests praise friendly staff, while others describe poor communication and problem handling.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, restaurant, bar and Wi-Fi; the official room listings also advertise breakfast.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion and arrival hours; Hotels.ng lists refundable deposits, and Expedia says parking is limited.
