Axel's take: 7.0/10

Friendly staff make this a plausible Lekki base, but room standards need checking. a simple independent 3-star in Lekki Phase 1, scored for what it is.

Ellyxville is a simple independent 3-star in Lekki Phase 1, best approached as a practical base rather than a beach hotel. Its restaurant, outdoor pool and free parking cover useful basics. Staff are the clearest strength: Expedia guests praise their hospitality, and Booking.com’s staff rating is notably strong. We’d consider it for a short stay with plans centered on Lekki.

The caution is consistency. Booking.com’s small review sample scores cleanliness, comfort and facilities much less favorably than Expedia’s mostly enthusiastic guests; a January 2026 review also flags bathroom repairs. Recent detailed evidence is limited, and the official website could not be accessed, so we wouldn’t book on photos alone. Confirm the room’s condition, breakfast inclusion and payment arrangements. There’s no elevator, and the beach requires a separate trip.

• Best for: short stays centered on Lekki; travelers prioritizing friendly service

• Watch out for: mixed cleanliness and room-condition evidence; no elevator; conflicting payment and tax information

• Location: Off Admiralty Way in Lekki Phase 1; not beachfront.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms; comfort ratings are mixed, so confirm the assigned room’s condition.

• Cleanliness: Booking.com’s cleanliness score is modest; Expedia’s newer feedback is more positive.

• Service: Hospitality is the most consistent positive across the available guest feedback.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking are listed across booking sites.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast, taxes and payment methods directly; listings disagree, and laundry costs extra.
