A practical Surulere base, but room and bathroom consistency need checking. a simple 3-star hotel in Surulere, scored for what it is.

Benestar Suites is a simple 3-star hotel in Surulere, best considered for a short mainland stay rather than a hotel-focused holiday. We'd shortlist it if location and straightforward facilities matter most: Google guests generally praise the service and location, and listings show a restaurant, bar and free parking. The overall picture is reasonably positive, but not consistently so across booking sites.

The main reservations are compact rooms, cramped bathrooms and shower problems appearing across Google, Hotels.ng and KAYAK's collected feedback. Parking space also draws mixed comments. Much of the detailed feedback is old, and recent guest evidence is limited; the official website could not be accessed to verify current conditions. We'd skip it if spacious rooms or dependable work Wi-Fi are essential, and confirm the shower, air conditioning and internet before committing.

• Best for: short mainland stays; travelers with plans in Surulere

• Watch out for: small rooms and cramped bathrooms; reported shower and Wi-Fi problems; limited parking space

• Location: In Surulere, off Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, near the National and Teslim Balogun stadiums.

• Rooms: Air conditioning and refrigerators are listed; room size and bathroom functionality draw recurring criticism.

• Cleanliness: Feedback is mixed, with older hygiene complaints; recent evidence is insufficient to establish current consistency.

• Service: Google feedback is largely positive, although older booking-site reviews are less consistent.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar, Wi-Fi and free parking are listed; Hotels.ng says there is no pool or gym.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast coverage and parking availability; current deposits and extra charges could not be verified.
