Axel's take: 8.1/10
A solid downtown base with helpful staff, skyline views and a seasonal pool. A practical mid-range 4-star in downtown Kuwait City, scored for what it is.
Ramada Encore is a practical mid-range 4-star, not a luxury hotel, and we'd shortlist it for a straightforward Kuwait City stay. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and the central location; Tripadvisor adds strong praise for breakfast. City-view windows and the high-floor restaurant give it more character than a basic business hotel, while nearby malls and Al Shaheed Park make the location useful.
The main caution is the rooftop pool: Expedia lists a May–July season, and guests report off-season closures, so don't assume swimming will be available. Room-condition feedback is mostly positive, but several guests describe dated interiors. Wi-Fi reports also vary. Breakfast isn't always included, and airport transfers carry a charge despite conflicting wording on Wyndham's website. We'd skip it for a polished luxury stay or a pool-led holiday.
