Hotels in Kuwait CityA full-service 4-star airport hotel in a large dining and leisure complex
8.5/10
A strong airport base with generous facilities, but less suited to city sightseeing.
This full-service 4-star in Farwaniya is a strong pick for airport stopovers and business trips, with more leisure facilities than a typical Holiday Inn. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests broadly praise helpful staff, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The shared Al Thuraya City complex adds substantial appeal: multiple restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, a large gym and Spa Aquatonic. Complimentary airport transfers and parking make the practical side straightforward.
The main compromise is location: sightseeing generally means a drive, rather than stepping outside into an interesting neighborhood. Recent Booking.com and Expedia reviews also suggest some rooms need updating or maintenance, despite generally positive cleanliness feedback. The owner lists a new InterContinental at Al Thuraya City as under construction; disruption to this hotel is unverified. We'd skip it for a walkable city break or consistently fresh interiors.
