#9 of 9 hotels in Kleparz & Main Station by Axel's take. Kleparz & Main Station is #4 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Kleparz & Main Station, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 7.9/10

Good-value sightseeing base with a lovely garden, but room choice matters. a simple 3-star hotel with a garden near Krakow's Old Town, scored for what it is.

Yarden is a simple 3-star hotel in a historic building, roughly 15 minutes’ walk from Krakow’s Main Square. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prioritize location and value over spacious rooms or polished interiors. Booking.com and Expedia guests generally rate it well for cleanliness and staff, while recent reviews repeatedly praise breakfast and the leafy garden—a welcome extra at this level.

The compromises are small rooms, some tired furnishings and noise, especially from trams outside street-facing rooms. Several recent guests also report hot rooms without air-conditioning, although others describe having it: confirm your specific room rather than assume. We’d request a garden-facing room and skip it if reliable summer cooling, generous space or a particularly quiet night is essential.

Best for: value-minded city-break travelers; couples sightseeing on foot; short stays near Old Town
Watch out for: tram noise in street-facing rooms; air-conditioning not reliably available; compact rooms and some dated furnishings
Location: Walkable to the Main Square and main railway station, with trams close by.
Rooms: Generally compact and functional; condition and cooling vary, so confirm the room category.
Cleanliness: Broadly positive across booking sites, despite occasional complaints about carpets and upkeep.
Service: Usually helpful reception staff; warmth and problem handling receive some mixed feedback.
Amenities: Garden, breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception and hallway water dispensers.
Fees and surprises: Limited parking and transfers cost extra; breakfast is not included in every booking.
