#1 of 9 hotels in Piasek & Nowy Świat by Axel's take. Piasek & Nowy Świat is #3 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Piasek & Nowy Świat, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 9.3/10

Personal hospitality and spotless rooms make this small aparthotel an excellent city-break base. a small, owner-run 3-star aparthotel near Kraków’s Old Town, scored for what it is.

Cracowdays is a small, owner-run 3-star aparthotel in a historic residential building, roughly 10–15 minutes’ walk from Kraków’s Main Market Square. It’s an exceptionally strong pick for travelers who prefer personal attention to big-hotel facilities. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spotless rooms, welcoming hosts and thoughtfully prepared breakfasts. Characterful interiors and access to a shared kitchen add to the appeal; Booking.com’s outstanding cleanliness and service ratings reinforce that picture.

The practical compromises matter more than any recurring service problem: there’s no lift, reception has limited hours, and independent studios are in separate nearby buildings. Confirm your accommodation’s address and breakfast inclusion, and arrange arrival beforehand. The official policy also makes mid-stay studio cleaning an extra. We’d skip it if stairs are difficult or you want round-the-clock hotel services; otherwise, it’s a particularly convincing small-scale choice.

Best for: couples on a sightseeing break; travelers who appreciate personal hosts; independent travelers wanting kitchen access
Watch out for: stairs and no lift; limited reception hours; studios in separate nearby buildings
Location: Quiet residential street, around 10–15 minutes on foot from the Main Market Square, with trams nearby.
Rooms: Individually decorated rooms with historic details; independent studios offer a different layout and address.
Cleanliness: Consistently strong across sources, with recent guests repeatedly describing spotless accommodation.
Service: Hosts earn unusually consistent praise for warm welcomes, local advice and help arranging transfers.
Amenities: Shared kitchen, Wi-Fi and well-liked breakfasts; a small aparthotel rather than a full-service hotel.
Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion; studio housekeeping during the stay costs extra, and arrival should be arranged ahead.
