#2 of 4 hotels in Podgórze & Zabłocie by Axel's take. Podgórze & Zabłocie is #5 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Podgórze & Zabłocie, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong riverside choice for breakfast and pool time, rather than Old Town doorstep convenience. a full-service riverside 4-star in Podgórze, scored for what it is.

Qubus Kraków is a full-service riverside 4-star in Podgórze, and a strong pick if you value reliable comfort over boutique character. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the cleanliness, helpful staff and generous breakfast. The top-floor indoor pool, with views across Kraków, gives it a genuine advantage over simpler city hotels. Kazimierz is conveniently across the river.

The trade-off is that you're not staying on the Main Market Square: expect a substantial walk or a tram ride for Old Town sightseeing. Recent Tripadvisor feedback suggests some rooms have tired finishes, while the pool and spa are compact rather than resort-sized. Parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't included in every booking. We'd choose it for city exploring with a relaxing swim afterward; skip it if polished interiors or doorstep Old Town access matter most.

  • Best for: couples exploring Kazimierz and Podgórze; travelers who prioritize breakfast; city-break guests wanting a pool

  • Watch out for: Old Town requires a walk or tram ride; compact pool and spa; some rooms show wear

  • Location: Riverside Podgórze, convenient for Kazimierz; less immediate for Main Market Square sightseeing.

  • Rooms: Generally comfortable, but recent Tripadvisor guests flag worn finishes in some rooms; choose the room category carefully.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com ratings and recent Expedia guest feedback.

  • Service: Helpful, welcoming staff receive repeated praise across booking platforms.

  • Amenities: Top-floor indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, restaurant and bars; leisure facilities are compact.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking and airport transfers cost extra; check whether breakfast is included in your booking.
