#8 of 9 hotels in Kleparz & Main Station by Axel's take. Kleparz & Main Station is #4 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Kleparz & Main Station, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 8.2/10

A practical station-side base, stronger on convenience than room comforts. a no-frills 3-star beside Kraków’s main railway station, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 3-star is a strong pick for a short Kraków break, especially if you’re arriving by train. Kraków Główny and Galeria Krakowska are close by, with the Old Town roughly 15–20 minutes away on foot. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and a substantial breakfast. It’s good, straightforward accommodation rather than somewhere you book for character.

The compromises are compact rooms, sparse extras and some tired finishes: several recent Accor guests describe worn rooms, while temperature-control complaints also appear on Expedia. Standard rooms generally lack kettles; Accor specifically includes tea-making facilities in Premium rooms. We’d choose it for transport convenience and days spent sightseeing, but skip it if you want generous space, reliably cool rooms or boutique atmosphere.

  • Best for: travelers arriving by train; short sightseeing breaks; budget-conscious couples and solo travelers

  • Watch out for: compact rooms and some worn finishes; temperature-control complaints; no kettle in standard rooms

  • Location: Excellent for the main station, shopping and trams; allow roughly 15–20 minutes to walk into the Old Town.

  • Rooms: Simple, compact accommodation; recent reviews flag wear and occasional overheating.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength overall, despite occasional housekeeping lapses.

  • Service: Usually praised as friendly and helpful, although individual experiences vary.

  • Amenities: Restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and useful water-refill stations; breakfast earns frequent praise.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; breakfast is chargeable unless included in your booking, and pets attract an additional charge.
