#6 of 9 hotels in Kazimierz by Axel's take. Kazimierz is #2 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Kazimierz, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong-value Krakow base, provided passing trains won’t spoil your sleep. a good-value 3-star hotel with apartments on the edge of Kazimierz, scored for what it is.

Hotel Miodowa is a good-value 3-star hotel with apartments on the edge of Kazimierz, around 15–20 minutes’ walk from the Main Market Square. It’s a strong pick for sightseeing without paying for Old Town frontage. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful reception staff and comfortable accommodation. The apartments’ kitchenettes make them particularly practical for families; standard doubles and twins are smaller and have a fridge and kettle instead.

The main compromise is the railway beside the property. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews mention passing trains, including overnight noise in rear-facing rooms, although some guests find closing the windows enough. Breakfast generally earns good feedback, but the dining room can feel cramped. Parking is limited, offsite and requires advance reservation. We’d choose it for a practical city break, but skip it if undisturbed silence is essential.

  • Best for: value-minded city-break travelers; families wanting a kitchenette; exploring Kazimierz on foot

  • Watch out for: train noise, especially in rear-facing rooms; limited offsite parking; reserve ahead; compact breakfast room

  • Location: On Kazimierz’s edge, with restaurants nearby and the Main Market Square roughly 15–20 minutes away on foot.

  • Rooms: Standard rooms are compact; apartments offer substantially more space and kitchenettes.

  • Cleanliness: Consistently praised across Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia.

  • Service: Helpful reception staff are a recurring strength; the front desk operates around the clock.

  • Amenities: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a lift, buffet breakfast and airport-transfer arrangements cover the practical basics.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking and airport transfers cost extra; check breakfast inclusion and reserve parking before arrival.
