#2 of 9 hotels in Piasek & Nowy Świat by Axel's take. Piasek & Nowy Świat is #3 of 7 places to stay in Krakow. The best hotels in Piasek & Nowy Świat, ranked · Where to stay in Krakow

Axel's take: 9.3/10

A standout apartment base for Old Town sightseeing, with genuinely helpful staff. An upscale, self-catering aparthotel near Krakow’s Main Market Square, scored for what it is.

H11 is an upscale aparthotel, not a full-service luxury hotel, and it’s a strong pick for travelers wanting independence without sacrificing support. Around ten minutes’ walk from Main Market Square, its modern apartments combine equipped kitchenettes with air-conditioning. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable accommodation and unusually helpful staff. Free shared laundry makes it particularly practical for families and longer stays.

The trade-offs are mostly about the apartment-style setup. Reception operates from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., so late arrivals should arrange self-check-in. Breakfast is served in the adjoining café rather than a conventional hotel buffet, and parking costs extra. We’d choose it for a comfortable, well-supported city break; skip it if round-the-clock staffed service is essential.

  • Best for: Families wanting kitchen facilities; Couples exploring Old Town; Longer self-catering stays

  • Watch out for: Reception closes at 7 p.m.; Breakfast in the adjoining café; Paid parking

  • Location: About ten minutes on foot from Main Market Square, with cafés and restaurants nearby.

  • Rooms: Modern studios and apartments with equipped kitchenettes, air-conditioning and Nespresso machines.

  • Cleanliness: An especially consistent strength across recent reviews on several sites.

  • Service: Guests repeatedly praise helpful staff; the official reception hours are 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

  • Amenities: Free shared laundry, Wi-Fi and an elevator; café breakfast and airport transfers are available.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking and airport transfers cost extra; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking.
