Axel's take: 7.7/10

A practical Secunderabad base with good food, but choose your room carefully. a simple independent 3-star business hotel in Secunderabad, scored for what it is.

Stay Inn is a simple independent 3-star business hotel on Secunderabad’s busy MG Road. It’s a good pick for a short, practical stay rather than a hotel-centered holiday. Recent MakeMyTrip guests generally praise the food, helpful staff and cleanliness; Booking.com feedback also singles out breakfast and Springs restaurant. James Street station is nearby, making this a useful base for getting around without relying entirely on taxis.

The compromise is the accommodation: this is an older property, and several guests find the rooms smaller than expected. Confirm the room category rather than assuming the photos guarantee space. More importantly, MakeMyTrip lists restrictions on unmarried couples, local IDs and all-male groups. We’d skip it for a spacious family break, and confirm eligibility directly before making a nonrefundable booking.

• Best for: short business stays in Secunderabad; solo travelers prioritizing food and transport

• Watch out for: small rooms in some categories; older interiors; restrictive guest and ID policies

• Location: Busy MG Road setting near James Street station, with convenient local transport.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned and functional; room size varies, and some guests find them cramped.

• Cleanliness: Recent MakeMyTrip feedback is mostly positive despite the property's age.

• Service: Helpful, courteous staff receive frequent praise, though experiences are not uniformly positive.

• Amenities: Springs restaurant, breakfast, free Wi-Fi and parking cover the practical basics.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; confirm guest eligibility and accessibility directly because listings differ.
