Axel's take: 7.9/10

A convenient Banjara Hills base with good breakfasts, but uneven service. a practical mid-range business hotel beside CARE Hospital, scored for what it is.

Lemon Tree Banjara Hills is a practical mid-range business hotel beside CARE Hospital, making it particularly useful for medical visits and central-city appointments. Its strongest selling points are convenience, breakfast and generally comfortable rooms—not luxury. The hotel lists standard rooms around 23 square metres, plus larger studios and suites. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and the breakfast spread.

Consistency is the catch. Recent Tripadvisor and Google reviews describe slow check-in, delayed requests and unreliable Wi-Fi alongside much warmer accounts of service. Renovations improved some rooms, according to January 2026 feedback, but an August 2026 guest still reported dust and possible nearby renovation work; confirm the current situation before booking. We'd choose it for a convenient short stay, but skip it for dependable work-call connectivity or a polished, hassle-free experience.

• Best for: visitors to CARE Hospital; short business stays; travelers prioritizing a central location

• Watch out for: renovation status needs checking; uneven check-in and request handling; unreliable Wi-Fi reports

• Location: Beside CARE Hospital, with Banjara Hills shopping and restaurants nearby.

• Rooms: Standard rooms are compact; newer rooms earn praise, while bathrooms draw some criticism.

• Cleanliness: Mostly positive feedback, though recent guests also report dust and missed cleaning.

• Service: Staff warmth is a recurring strength; speed and follow-through are less dependable.

• Amenities: Citrus Café, a fitness center, meeting facilities and parking cover the practical basics.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion varies; airport transfers, early check-in and late checkout can cost extra.
