A practical Jordan base, with a better location than condition. a no-frills 3-star city hotel near Jordan MTR, scored for what it is.

Travelodge Kowloon is a no-frills 3-star city hotel whose main selling point is convenience: Jordan MTR, Nathan Road buses and Temple Street are close by. We'd consider it for a budget-conscious sightseeing trip rather than a hotel-focused stay. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the location, and many find the rooms comfortable and reasonably spacious for Hong Kong.

The compromise is uneven upkeep. Recent reviews across several sites mention tired interiors, with some complaints about cleaning, air-conditioning and noise alongside plenty of satisfactory stays. Service also varies between helpful and merely functional. Tripadvisor guests reported major construction directly opposite in 2025; its current status remains unconfirmed, so ask before booking. Bring your own disposable toiletries and expect a deposit. We'd skip it if fresh interiors, consistently attentive service or dependable quiet matter most.

• Best for: budget-conscious sightseers; solo travelers prioritizing transport; short stays exploring Kowloon

• Watch out for: dated rooms and uneven maintenance; variable noise and air-conditioning; construction opposite reported in 2025; check current status

• Location: A few minutes from Jordan MTR, with airport buses, restaurants and markets nearby.

• Rooms: Often considered a decent size locally, but tired finishes and inconsistent air-conditioning recur in reviews.

• Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, though recent complaints show standards are not completely consistent.

• Service: A 24-hour front desk; feedback ranges from helpful and efficient to indifferent.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and room fridges; this is a basic city base, not a full-service leisure hotel.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a stay deposit; disposable toiletries cost extra, and the status of previously reported construction opposite needs checking.
