Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong Kowloon base with personality, good food and compact rooms. a lively, design-led 4-star hotel in Jordan, scored for what it is.

Eaton HK is a lively, design-led 4-star in Jordan, and a strong pick if you want more character than a conventional city hotel. Jordan MTR is roughly five minutes away, with Temple Street and plenty of local eating nearby. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, helpful staff and convenient transport. The food hall, Terrible Baby cocktail bar and heated rooftop pool give it substance beyond the styling.

The main compromise is space: entry-level rooms can feel tight, and some guests find the lighting dim. Several Tripadvisor guests also mention slow lifts or loud music in public areas, though bedroom noise is not a consistent complaint. We'd skip it for sprawling rooms or hushed luxury, but recommend it for food-focused city exploring. For winter trips, Expedia lists the swimming pool as closed January 18–31, 2027.

• Best for: food-focused city explorers; couples who like a lively hotel; travelers using public transport

• Watch out for: compact rooms and sometimes dim lighting; slow lifts and lively public areas; pool closure January 18–31, 2027

• Location: Walkable Jordan base near markets, local restaurants and the MTR.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable, but room size and lighting deserve attention when choosing a category.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across major sites; recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a recurring strength, despite occasional less positive reports.

• Amenities: Heated rooftop pool, gym, food hall, restaurants, cocktail bar and cultural programming.

• Fees and surprises: An incidental deposit applies; breakfast may cost extra, and complimentary disposable toiletries are limited.
