Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong suburban base for spacious suites, helpful staff and practical family stays. a 3-star extended-stay suite hotel in suburban Glastonbury, scored for what it is.

This 3-star extended-stay hotel in Glastonbury is a strong pick for families and longer visits, especially if you'll use the full kitchen. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious layouts, helpful staff and generally clean rooms, while breakfast earns mostly positive feedback. Free parking and restaurants within walking distance make the suburban setting practical. A renovation completed in May 2024 refreshed guestrooms and shared spaces.

The main caveat is uneven execution rather than a shortage of amenities: some recent guests report heating or air-conditioning failures, cleaning misses and hallway noise, although the overall feedback remains firmly positive. The outdoor pool is seasonal, not an all-weather family amenity. We'd choose it for extra living space and self-catering convenience; we'd skip it for a car-free Hartford city break or if consistently quiet rooms are essential.

• Best for: families wanting kitchen-equipped suites; longer business or medical visits; travelers exploring by car

• Watch out for: occasional maintenance and cleaning misses; hallway noise in some rooms; outdoor pool is seasonal

• Location: Walkable dining and shopping nearby; downtown Hartford is a drive away, and no airport shuttle is offered.

• Rooms: Spacious studios and multiroom suites with full kitchens; occasional HVAC failures temper otherwise strong comfort feedback.

• Cleanliness: Mostly praised across booking sites, with some recent reports of missed cleaning and musty rooms.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength, though problem resolution is not uniformly successful.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking, plus a gym, Wednesday reception and seasonal outdoor pool.

• Fees and surprises: Pets and EV charging carry fees; confirm pet terms directly because published descriptions differ.
