Axel's take: 7.5/10

Useful suites and friendly staff, but upkeep needs more consistency. a suburban 3-star all-suite hotel near UConn Health, scored for what it is.

This suburban 3-star all-suite hotel is a practical pick for UConn Health visits, family trips and longer stays around Farmington. Kitchenettes, separate living areas, free parking and included hot breakfast make the setup useful for the money. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff; its overall feedback remains solid rather than exceptional.

The main compromise is uneven upkeep. Tripadvisor and other recent guest reviews describe worn furnishings, missed housekeeping and maintenance requests that were not reliably resolved, alongside plenty of clean-room reports. The indoor pool is handy, but several guests report cold water or disappointing cleanliness. We'd choose it for space and convenience, not a freshly updated feel. Skip it if consistent housekeeping or a walkable downtown Hartford location is essential.

• Best for: UConn Health visitors; families wanting separate living space; longer stays with a car

• Watch out for: Worn furnishings and uneven housekeeping; Mixed reports on pool condition and temperature; Suburban location outside downtown Hartford

• Location: Near UConn Health in Farmington; better suited to drivers than downtown sightseeing on foot.

• Rooms: Roomy suites with kitchenettes and separate living areas; recurring reports of wear and maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: Many guests praise clean rooms, but missed cleaning and insufficient deep cleaning recur across sources.

• Service: Friendly staff are a frequent strength; follow-through on problems is less consistent.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, indoor pool, fitness center and Wednesday evening social.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a nonrefundable fee that increases for longer stays; no airport shuttle.
