Axel's take: 9.1/10

A strong upscale choice for Andares, with excellent cleanliness and attentive service. an upscale full-service hotel in Zapopan’s Andares shopping district, scored for what it is.

Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara is an upscale full-service hotel in Zapopan’s shopping-and-dining district, and it delivers convincingly on comfort. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise spotless rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Spacious accommodation, a well-equipped gym, lap pool and popular breakfast buffet make it a strong pick for business trips or a weekend built around Andares. The hotel also announced refreshed interiors in selected suite categories in August 2026.

The main compromise is geography: this is a base for Andares, not walking-distance sightseeing in Guadalajara’s historic center. A few recent guests across Tripadvisor and Expedia report inconsistent shower temperatures, although praise overwhelmingly outweighs complaints. Valet parking and pets cost extra, and breakfast depends on your booking. We’d choose it for polished convenience; we’d look elsewhere for a historic-neighborhood stay.

• Best for: business travelers in Zapopan; shopping and dining weekends; travelers prioritizing cleanliness and comfort

• Watch out for: not a historic-center base; occasional shower-temperature problems; parking and pet surcharges

• Location: Andares shops and restaurants are close at hand; historic-center sightseeing requires transportation.

• Rooms: Spacious and comfortable; selected suites received refreshed interiors in 2026.

• Cleanliness: A standout strength, with consistently enthusiastic feedback across Tripadvisor and Expedia.

• Service: Usually attentive and helpful; isolated front-desk lapses do not define the overall feedback.

• Amenities: Lap pool, 24-hour gym, Kinal Spa, restaurant and lounge; Club access requires an eligible booking.

• Fees and surprises: Valet parking and pets carry surcharges; check whether your booking includes breakfast.
