Hotels in GothenburgA budget-minded 3-star in Gothenburg’s residential Örgryte district
6.1/10
Friendly staff and included breakfast help, but tired rooms make this a compromise.
Dialog Hotel Örgryte is a budget-minded 3-star in a residential part of Gothenburg: a workable short-stay option, rather than a dependable all-rounder. Its strongest selling points are included breakfast, an on-site Asian restaurant and generally welcoming staff. Expedia guests repeatedly praise the people and breakfast, while Google reviews favor the location. It makes most sense for travelers happy to trade polish for a simpler stay outside the center.
The drawbacks go beyond dated décor. Recent guests repeatedly describe worn bathrooms, broken fittings, uneven cleaning and noise between rooms; summer reviews also flag hot rooms without air-conditioning. Some guests find their rooms clean and perfectly adequate, but consistency is the concern. Parking costs extra. We’d skip it if reliable housekeeping, quiet sleep or a well-maintained bathroom matters more than keeping the stay economical.
