Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong Messe pick with comfortable rooms and a skyline bar worth visiting. a modern, design-led 4-star beside Frankfurt’s trade fair, scored for what it is.

nhow Frankfurt is a design-led 4-star beside the Messe, and we'd put it high on the list for trade-fair visits or a stylish city break. Behind the bold, money-themed interiors, the basics are reassuringly strong: Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Breakfast earns enthusiastic feedback, too. The 47th-floor NFT Skybar is the standout extra, with free entry for hotel guests during opening hours.

The trade-offs are mostly about taste and room choice. The banknote-heavy decor won't suit everyone, and guests flag limited bathroom privacy in some layouts; check before sharing with friends or colleagues. Book an upper-floor category if the view matters rather than assuming every room delivers it. We'd choose somewhere else for traditional decor or an old-town setting.

• Best for: Messe and conference visitors; Couples who enjoy bold design; Travelers seeking skyline views

• Watch out for: Limited bathroom privacy in some layouts; Views depend on room category; Paid parking and breakfast unless included

• Location: Excellent for Messe, Kap Europa and Skyline Plaza, with public transport nearby rather than an old-town doorstep.

• Rooms: Modern and comfortable; confirm the bathroom layout and book an upper-floor category for better views.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Recent reviews mostly describe friendly, helpful staff, with occasional check-in lapses.

• Amenities: Free 24-hour gym, sauna, dining and guest access to the 47th-floor NFT Skybar; lounge access depends on room category.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and pets cost extra; check breakfast inclusion and allow for city tax and a possible incidental deposit.
