Hotels in Fort Lauderdalea simple 3-star beachfront timeshare-style aparthotel
7.2/10
Book it for beach access, not polished rooms or full hotel service.
Hollywood Beach Tower is a simple 3-star, timeshare-style aparthotel in Hollywood, rather than Fort Lauderdale proper. We'd consider it for an uncomplicated beach break: the sand and Broadwalk are outside, restaurants are walkable, and the pool and hot tub add practical appeal. Recent Expedia guests frequently praise clean rooms and friendly staff. Studios with kitchens suit travelers who want to prepare meals rather than eat out every day.
The trade-off is inconsistent upkeep, not a lack of luxury. Tripadvisor reviews repeatedly mention uncomfortable Murphy beds, odors and plumbing problems, alongside positive reports about cleanliness and helpful staff. Timeshare sales approaches also recur across sites. Check your exact room configuration: king rooms have kitchenettes, while studios use fold-down beds. We'd skip it if you expect daily housekeeping, consistently updated rooms or a sales-free stay; parking and requested housekeeping cost extra.

#9 of 9 hotels in Hollywood Beach by Axel's take. Hollywood Beach is #7 of 9 places to stay in Fort Lauderdale. The best hotels in Hollywood Beach, ranked · Where to stay in Fort Lauderdale
Axel is a travel agent that books hotels at private rates you will not find on the public booking sites. It is free to use: a free account takes just an email address. This page lists every stay Axel has priced for Hollywood Beach Tower in Fort Lauderdale in the last 7 days, each beside the public rate seen for the same dates. They are examples, not this person's dates. Sign up free to book one, or tell Axel your own dates and it checks live rooms and rates at Hollywood Beach Tower for them.
Book it for beach access, not polished rooms or full hotel service. a simple 3-star beachfront timeshare-style aparthotel, scored for what it is.
Best for: Beach-first couples; Self-catering travelers; Families prioritizing pool and sand
Watch out for: Murphy-bed comfort and uneven upkeep; Timeshare sales approaches; Paid parking and limited housekeeping
Location: Direct beach and Broadwalk access in Hollywood, with restaurants within walking distance.
Rooms: King rooms have kitchenettes; kitchen-equipped studios use Murphy beds, which draw recurring comfort complaints.
Cleanliness: Many recent Expedia guests praise cleanliness, but Tripadvisor reports show inconsistencies and hallway odors.
Service: Front-desk friendliness earns praise; timeshare sales staff receive more mixed feedback.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, grills and coin-operated laundry; beach access rather than a confirmed private beach.
Fees and surprises: Expedia lists paid parking, a deposit, extra-cost housekeeping and possible room changes during longer stays; checkout is 10 a.m.
