A stylish downtown base with strong guest feedback, but housekeeping needs more consistency.
Cambria is an upscale 4-star downtown hotel built around the historic WWJ radio station, with Art Deco character and more entertainment than the usual business hotel. It’s a strong pick for convention trips and city weekends: Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise spacious, comfortable rooms, cleanliness and friendly staff. Huntington Place is an easy walk, while restaurants, cocktail bars and Five Iron’s golf simulators and duckpin bowling give you reasons to stay in.
The caveats are service consistency and extras. Several Tripadvisor guests report missed housekeeping or cleaning lapses, although the broader feedback remains strongly positive. Valet parking is an expensive extra, and breakfast costs extra too. Crucially, Cielo Rooftop is closed until the 2027 season. We’d skip it if rooftop drinks are the main attraction or dependable daily housekeeping is essential.
