This is a simple 3-star beachfront hotel, not a full-service resort, and we'd consider it for a beach-first trip rather than dependable polish. Spacious rooms with sofa beds, oceanfront views, included breakfast and free parking make a practical package. Hyatt confirms the renovated pool is open, and summer and September 2026 guests praise the pool deck and direct beach access—older closure reports no longer describe the whole picture.

Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly mention worn furnishings, missing balcony chairs and unreliable elevators; cleanliness draws both strong praise and serious complaints.
