5.5/10
Convenient location and useful freebies, but upkeep and cleanliness make this a risky pick.
This budget 3-star La Quinta has a practical location off I-675 for Wright State, Wright-Patterson and the Air Force museum. Free breakfast, parking and WiFi help keep things simple, and some Expedia guests still praise comfortable beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. But we'd treat it as a fallback rather than a dependable budget pick: its condition falls short even allowing for its modest class.
The concern is more than dated decor. Tripadvisor and Priceline guests repeatedly describe broken bathroom fittings and neglected maintenance; summer and September 2026 reviews on Trip.com and Engine add dirty-room, odor and pest reports. Positive stays exist, but the recent pattern makes consistency hard to trust. Breakfast and front-desk service also vary. We'd skip it if reliable cleanliness matters more than convenience, especially for a longer stay.

Location: Convenient off I-675 near Wright State, with easy driving access to the base and museum.
Rooms: Some comfortable beds, but recurring reports of worn furnishings, odors and faulty bathroom fittings.
Cleanliness: Clean-room praise is offset by repeated recent reports of dirty bathrooms, stained linens and pests.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff feature in positive reviews; others describe rude or unavailable desk staff.
Amenities: Free breakfast, WiFi and parking; Wyndham advertises a gym and indoor pool, with mixed guest feedback.
Fees and surprises: Pet charges and restrictions apply; Expedia also lists a pet deposit and extra-bed fees.
