Axel's take: 7.9/10

A practical Harbison base with roomy suites, good breakfast and some uneven edges. a budget all-suite hotel off I-26 in Harbison, scored for what it is.

This budget all-suite hotel is a good pick for a Columbia stopover or a shopping-focused weekend with a car. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and the included breakfast. Microwaves, refrigerators, free parking and an indoor pool make it particularly practical for families. Recent guests also describe updated rooms, though that is not a guarantee of uniformly fresh condition.

The trade-off is consistency rather than a shortage of basics. Tripadvisor feedback is more mixed, with complaints about room condition and management’s handling of problems; a recent guest also reports a deposit dispute. The pool is small, and one recent family found it colder than expected despite its advertised heating. We'd choose it for space and convenience, but skip it for a polished stay or a walkable downtown location.

  • Best for: families traveling on a budget; I-26 road-trip stopovers; Harbison shopping trips

  • Watch out for: uneven room condition and problem handling; small indoor pool; incidental deposit required

  • Location: Convenient for I-26, Walmart and Harbison dining; better with a car than as a downtown sightseeing base.

  • Rooms: Spacious suites with microwaves and refrigerators; recent updates earn praise, but condition is not uniformly praised.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly positive recent feedback, although Tripadvisor includes substantially less favorable accounts.

  • Service: Front-desk helpfulness is a recurring strength; management’s complaint handling gets more mixed feedback.

  • Amenities: Included hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, a fitness center and a small indoor pool advertised as heated.

  • Fees and surprises: An incidental deposit is required; cash is not accepted, and the minimum check-in age is 21.
