The Westin Cincinnati is a large, older 4-star business hotel whose biggest asset is its Fountain Square location. It’s a strong pick for downtown meetings, restaurants and stadium visits without much driving. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. We'd choose it for those practical strengths rather than polished luxury.

The trade-off is condition: recent reviews describe dated interiors and occasional maintenance problems. Square-facing rooms can catch event noise, so light sleepers should request the opposite side. The hotel currently flags lobby-to-second-floor escalator renovation; separately, its operator says a broader renovation starts in 2027. Parking costs extra, with no in-and-out privileges for self-parking. We'd skip it if fresh interiors or a dependable pool are essential: Marriott no longer lists an on-site pool.
