This is a practical 3-star Holiday Inn on the Covington side of the river, best treated as a base for Cincinnati rather than a destination itself. We'd consider it for a sports weekend or short driving trip: free parking helps, MainStrasse Village is nearby, and Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff. Many also report comfortable beds and clean rooms, although the overall feedback is less consistent than the strongest recommendations suggest.
The compromise is upkeep: guests describe worn rooms, occasional musty smells and uneven housekeeping alongside perfectly satisfactory stays. Breakfast isn't automatically included.
