Axel's take: 7.1/10

Roomy suites and riverfront convenience, but upkeep needs to catch up. a mid-range all-suite hotel on Covington’s riverfront, scored for what it is.

This mid-range all-suite hotel is in Covington, Kentucky, across the river from downtown Cincinnati. It’s a practical pick for families and event trips: separate living areas provide breathing room, while included made-to-order breakfast and the evening reception add value. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the skyline views, convenient bridge access and friendly staff, particularly the breakfast team.

The compromise is condition, not space. Across both sites, guests describe worn furniture, stained carpets and maintenance problems; housekeeping feedback ranges from spotless rooms to missed basics. Plenty of recent visitors still report comfortable stays, but consistency is weaker than it should be. Parking costs extra in a city-managed garage, and arrival signage can be confusing. We’d consider it for location and suite space, but skip it if fresh interiors and reliably meticulous housekeeping are priorities.

• Best for: families wanting separate living space; Cincinnati sporting-event trips; Northern Kentucky convention attendees

• Watch out for: dated furnishings and uneven maintenance; inconsistent housekeeping; paid parking and confusing arrival signage

• Location: Covington riverfront beside the convention center, with walkable bridge access to Cincinnati.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with separate living areas, microwaves and mini-fridges; wear and maintenance complaints recur.

• Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but repeated housekeeping lapses make standards inconsistent.

• Service: Friendly staff and breakfast cooks earn praise; front-desk welcome and problem handling vary.

• Amenities: Included cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception, indoor pool, gym and restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: City-managed garage parking and pet stays cost extra; Hilton lists no EV charging or airport shuttle.
