Art Legacy is a 53-room, five-star boutique hotel in Baixa, and we'd put it high on the list for a Lisbon city break. Its vivid interiors have personality, but the strongest reason to book is the service: Tripadvisor, Booking.com and recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise genuinely attentive staff. Excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds and a much-loved breakfast back up the luxury billing. The location makes sightseeing on foot and reaching the metro easy.
The main compromise is space. Guests on both Tripadvisor and Expedia describe some rooms as compact, so check the category carefully if you plan to spend much time indoors. The saturated colors won't suit anyone seeking understated décor, either. Parking is off-site and charged separately. We'd choose it for personal service and exploring Lisbon, rather than a spacious room to retreat to.
