Asakusa View Hotel is a full-service 4-star high-rise we'd choose for exploring old Tokyo, especially with a Skytree-facing room. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, cleanliness and generous breakfast buffet with panoramic views. The hotel announced completion of its guest-room renovation in October 2026, so older complaints about worn interiors deserve less weight now. Senso-ji and neighborhood restaurants are an easy walk away.

The catches are practical: guests across sites mention firm beds, and the closest Asakusa station is the Tsukuba Express stop—not the similarly named subway stations. Pool access costs extra, children's swimming is restricted to July and August, and the hotel's own gym is not available to ordinary overnight guests.
