Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong Loop base with roomy suites, helpful staff and breakfast worth having. A 3-star all-suite extended-stay hotel in the Loop, scored for what it is.

This 3-star all-suite hotel gets the practical things right: space, kitchens and a central Loop location. It’s a strong pick for longer stays or sightseeing without a car, with Millennium Park, theaters and several train lines within walking distance. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff; the included hot breakfast earns unusually enthusiastic feedback for this kind of hotel. Kitchens and guest laundry make it more useful than a standard downtown room.

There are a few practical limitations. Several recent Expedia guests found the pullout sofas uncomfortable, so families should book enough proper beds. Tripadvisor guests mention breakfast crowds, despite the generous dining space. Valet parking is expensive, and pets bring additional charges. We’d skip it if everyone needs a comfortable bed but the room plan relies on the sofa.

• Best for: Longer stays with kitchen access; Car-free sightseeing; Business travelers working in the Loop

• Watch out for: Uncomfortable pullout sofas; Busy breakfast periods; Expensive valet parking

• Location: Walkable Loop base near theaters, Millennium Park and several train lines.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with equipped kitchens; choose proper beds over sofa-bed capacity.

• Cleanliness: Strong, repeated praise across Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a consistent strength in guest feedback.

• Amenities: Included hot breakfast, fitness center, guest laundry and Roanoke restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Paid valet; no hotel self-parking. Pet charges include nightly and nonrefundable cleaning fees.
