Axel's take: 6.3/10

A practical budget base, but not a convincing four-star spa hotel. a modest city-center hotel listed as 4-star, with uneven standards, scored for what it is.

The Seven is a modest city-center hotel listed as four-star, better approached as a budget base than a polished spa stay. We'd consider it for a short, price-conscious visit: Place Mohammed V and Central Market are within walking distance, and helpful staff earn repeated praise. Booking.com's overall rating sits in the mid-sixes, which fits the mixed picture better than the star rating.

The trade-offs are small rooms, limited bathroom privacy, noise between rooms and inconsistent housekeeping. Several 2026 Booking.com guests praise cleanliness, while others report dirty rooms and bathroom odors; that inconsistency makes it hard to recommend confidently. Breakfast also divides opinion. A Google review from April 2025 reported the spa awaiting reopening, and current operation remains unverified. We'd skip it for a wellness break, light sleepers or anyone expecting dependable four-star comfort.

• Best for: budget-conscious city visitors; short, practical stays

• Watch out for: inconsistent housekeeping and bathroom upkeep; small rooms and weak soundproofing; spa operation unverified

• Location: Central Market and Place Mohammed V are walkable; the immediate streets can be noisy.

• Rooms: Small-room complaints recur, alongside thin walls and glass bathroom partitions with limited privacy.

• Cleanliness: Recent reports vary sharply, from clean rooms to dirty surfaces and bathroom odors.

• Service: Helpful reception staff are a recurring strength, though not every guest agrees.

• Amenities: Restaurant, breakfast and free Wi-Fi are listed; confirm spa availability before booking.

• Fees and surprises: City tax applies; Hotels.com lists a card-payment surcharge, and guests dispute advertised on-site parking.
