Good value for a rail stopover, but noise can spoil the convenience. a practical 3-star beside a shopping mall near Casa Voyageurs station, scored for what it is.

Relax Hotel Casa Voyageurs is a straightforward 3-star attached to Tachfine Center, roughly a 10–15-minute walk from the railway station. It’s a strong pick for a short stopover: Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, generally clean rooms and the convenience of shops, supermarket and food outlets downstairs. For this class, it delivers good value rather than anything fancy.

The main compromise is sleep. Recent Tripadvisor and Trip.com reviews describe traffic noise, weak soundproofing and, in some rooms, the mall’s ventilation equipment. Bathroom upkeep also needs more consistency, with reports of escaping shower water and slippery floors. Breakfast gets mixed reactions and may cost extra. We’d choose it for rail connections and practical shopping, but skip it if quiet nights or walking straight into Casablanca’s main sights are priorities.

• Best for: rail travelers on short stopovers; budget-conscious business travelers; travelers wanting shops and food nearby

• Watch out for: traffic and mall-equipment noise; inconsistent shower drainage and slippery floors; main sights require onward transport

• Location: Convenient for Casa Voyageurs station and Tachfine Center, less convenient for sightseeing on foot.

• Rooms: Simple air-conditioned rooms; guests often find them comfortable, but soundproofing is a recurring weakness.

• Cleanliness: Generally praised across booking sites, with occasional housekeeping lapses rather than a dominant pattern.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a recurring strength, though reception handling is not uniformly smooth.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, restaurant, breakfast and luggage storage; mall shopping and food outlets are close at hand.

• Fees and surprises: City tax is payable at the property; breakfast may be extra, and Expedia lists no onsite parking.
