Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong city base with standout cleanliness and a lively rooftop. a modern 4-star city hotel in Gauthier, scored for what it is.

This modern 4-star Radisson in Gauthier is a strong pick for a comfortable Casablanca city break or business stop. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spotless rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff, while breakfast earns unusually consistent compliments. The setting opposite Arab League Park makes a useful base for exploring central Casablanca. Braise restaurant and the Bliss rooftop add appeal beyond the bedrooms, with city views and a small outdoor pool.

The rooftop is also the main trade-off: recent guests describe DJs and music, so light sleepers should request a room away from it rather than assume higher is better. Think refreshing dip, not swimming laps. We'd choose it for modern comfort and a sociable evening atmosphere; we'd skip it for a hushed retreat or a pool-focused holiday. Check whether breakfast is included, and expect a separate city tax.

• Best for: business travelers wanting central comfort; couples on a city break; travelers who enjoy rooftop bars

• Watch out for: rooftop music for light sleepers; small pool rather than a lap pool; breakfast inclusion and city tax

• Location: Opposite Arab League Park in central Gauthier, convenient for restaurants and city sightseeing.

• Rooms: Modern rooms and comfortable beds draw strong praise; request distance from the rooftop if noise-sensitive.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across recent reviews, supported by strong Booking.com and Expedia cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff dominate recent feedback, despite occasional individual service failures.

• Amenities: Small rooftop outdoor pool, Bliss bar, Braise restaurant and a 24-hour gym.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free valet parking, a separate city tax and breakfast charges unless included.
