#2 of 2 hotels in Hassan II Mosque & El Hank by Axel's take. Hassan II Mosque & El Hank is #6 of 8 places to stay in Casablanca. The best hotels in Hassan II Mosque & El Hank, ranked · Where to stay in Casablanca

Axel's take: 7.8/10

A roomy, convenient mosque-side base, but not a polished four-star experience. a practical 4-star aparthotel near Hassan II Mosque, scored for what it is.

Melliber is a practical 4-star aparthotel whose strongest selling points are space and location, rather than luxury. It's a good pick for visiting Hassan II Mosque and the waterfront, with kitchenettes that make longer stays easier. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, generally good cleanliness and helpful reception staff. We'd choose it for a straightforward Casablanca stop, especially when extra room matters more than stylish finishes.

The trade-offs are uneven upkeep, some street noise and inconsistent dining. Recent reviews across sites mention worn furnishings, bathroom maintenance problems and slow restaurant service; breakfast attracts both praise and disappointment. An August 2026 guest reported coworking-space construction with areas closed off but no noise or dust; completion is unconfirmed. We'd skip it for a quiet, reliably polished four-star stay.

  • Best for: Hassan II Mosque sightseeing; families wanting extra space; travelers who use a kitchenette

  • Watch out for: Uneven room and bathroom upkeep; Street noise and inconsistent dining; Coworking works reported in August 2026; status unconfirmed

  • Location: Excellent for the mosque and waterfront; expect taxis for sights farther afield.

  • Rooms: Spacious studios and suites with kitchenettes; some have balconies, but wear and maintenance vary.

  • Cleanliness: Broadly positive feedback, with occasional reports of dust and bathroom mold.

  • Service: Reception usually earns praise; restaurant attentiveness is less consistent.

  • Amenities: Restaurant, café, free Wi-Fi, private parking and meeting facilities support a practical stay.

  • Fees and surprises: City tax applies; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking, and coworking construction completion is unconfirmed.
