Axel's take: 8.5/10

Elegant rooms and a lovely pool, but evening noise complicates the luxury promise. an independent 5-star Art Deco-style hotel in residential Anfa, scored for what it is.

Le Casablanca is an independent 5-star with Art Deco character, generous rooms and a garden-framed outdoor pool. It’s a strong pick for couples who want somewhere stylish to unwind between city outings. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and welcoming staff; the terrace and restaurants give the hotel appeal beyond the bedrooms.

The main reservation is noise: guests describe music from bars, private events and nearby venues, so ask about the event calendar before booking. Tripadvisor reviewers also flag smoking in dining and bar areas, while occasional service lapses fall short of five-star expectations. This is a residential city base, not a beachfront resort. We’d skip it if silence or a smoke-free setting is essential; families should note the hotel’s stated minimum age of seven.

• Best for: couples on a city break; Art Deco enthusiasts; travelers wanting pool time between outings

• Watch out for: late-night music and event noise; smoking in some dining and bar areas; children must be seven or older

• Location: Residential Anfa rather than beachfront; plan on transport for sightseeing.

• Rooms: Spacious, traditionally styled rooms with marble bathrooms; guests particularly praise bed comfort.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, with recent Expedia guests repeatedly praising clean rooms.

• Service: Usually warm and attentive, though some guests report uneven follow-through.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, garden terrace, restaurants, Jasmin’ Spa and a gym.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast, valet parking and airport transfers can cost extra; check inclusions and scheduled events.
